I can't let the day pass without letting it be known that it is my dA birthday on 22nd May and I will be 4 years old. It has been a most remarkable 4 years, meeting some wonderful and generous people from all over the world. Sadly, some no longer visit dA, but new friends continue to come along.

Thankfully, I'm still in love with the joy of photography, it's a wonderful way to share how I see this beautiful part of the world in which I live.

Thank you to all who have touched my life during the past 4 years with so many kind actions and words. I hope our internet relationships continue to flourish and grow.

AN ORGY OF BIRDS

As I’m adding an orgy of bird pictures to my gallery this week, I thought I should also have a bird orgy in my journal.

Although I do take lots of bird pictures, most are fairly easy captures as the birds are often sitting still and I only have to slowly creep up on them. (What a sight)

The photographs I do admire are those showing birds actually doing something. I know how difficult these shots can be, so I’m often amazed that many are not appreciated enough.
