Tomorrow 22nd Jan, I am once more heading for Perth. This time I am house and animal sitting, so I thought you might like to see who my companions will be for the next week.
The Budgie
Ive only met him/her a couple of times but we seem to get along fine. The hens, Victoria and Gladys. Jethro the dog, a Beagle, who at the least opportunity, will rush through the gate. (Reminder: must make sure dog is locked up before going into pen for eggs)
Must admit I havent ever been around chickens so I will be wary of them. The dog and I get along fine; Im his private masseur. Fluffy the snake
(I think the name was chosen by one of the children.) She is a python and I am refusing to feed her dead mice. And finally, Lucy, the Frilled Necked Dragon.
And I refuse to feed her dead animals and live cockroaches too. No, Im not afraid of either the snake or the lizard, weve been friends for a long time, but I am rather squeamish when it comes to mice and cockroaches.
As the weather forecast is for VERY hot conditions for Perth, I think most of my days will be spent in the air-conditioned house. This means that I will almost certainly catch up here on dA. J

You'd actually be surprised how fun it is to feed dead mice and live cockroaches to snakes and lizards, but I assume you've already tried
