I decided we needed a day out so the Stirling Range, Western Australia seemed as good a place as any to quench my urge to click the camera shutter.
We have never visited the the range in summer, always winter or spring, when everything is lushly green or colourful from the different crops planted in the paddocks around the base of the mountains. So I only half-heartedly clicked off a few photos with the brown, dried-up, dead-looking, paddocks in the foreground. We were unable to go into the range of mountains as we had Charlie with us and dogs aren't allowed in National Parks. But the roads running either sides of the range, usually give some great photo opportunities. Yesterday I downloaded the photos onto my computer and I was about to delete the whole disappointing mess when I remembered the new photoshop skills I had learnt at  So I fiddled about with the 'levels' which added just that extra bit of oomph. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
