Meet Jethro, the latest member of my family. He is a Beagle and belongs to my son and partner and they brought him to visit at the weekend. He is absolutely adorable.

We had hoped that at the very least, Charlie would tolerate having another dog in his house, but our little wussy boy was terrified of the pup and eventually became quite aggressive towards him.
(Australian slang Wuss : coward; nervous person or animal)

So they had to take it in turns to go in the dog run; that is, until Jethro the wonder dog escaped. Poor Charlie then had to spend most of the time outside. He is so happy to have his life back to normal.

He's had a bad time of it lately. Having to go up to Perth a couple of weeks ago and put in the kennels for two nights was pretty bad for him too.

First hugs to Charlie sounds like he needs it, second that is one adorable pup (great shot of him) , so when Charlie isn't looking sneak in a hug to the puppy as well

This little fella is sooooo cute.....those eyes would melt anyones heart...poor Charlie though sound like his nose was out of joint!!!! My Sydney would be the same way too! :XD:

hehe, we have a new doggie too and last evening he went to visit my brother's girlfrend in her home. she has a cat, and although he wasn't interested in cat's business, cat just raised all his hair and looked like a huge bottle brush :giggle: and stayed in the other room the rest of the time. i hope they will eventually learn to be with each other...doggy really enjoys playing with other dogs which is great and doesn't really attack cats, as long as they don't run ;)
